Hi Anitha,
Now that I have had an opportunity to settle into the new house a bit, I would like to formally let you know that your efforts are very much appreciated.
When we originally began looking for a new house, in the summer, I had become discouraged after several months of searching. Either the house was too small, too pricey, in a questionable neighborhood, or simply unattractive.
Luckily you asked us to create search criteria. From that you were able to bring properties to light that we otherwise would never have seen. And within just a month, we were able to find our ideal home. But that’s not why I am writing you.
I am writing you because of the amazing job that you did to close our purchase. At the last minute, when our mortgage loan officer botched the closing, we faced a multitude of unexpected penalties and added fees to close the transaction.
Our loan officer can best be described as inept and perhaps misleading as well. Her failure to close the loan according to the good faith estimate put this purchase in serious jeopardy.
Fortunately you were there to contact your sources who provided us with a financial package even better than our original estimate. And I was amazed that they were able to close the loan in just 7 days. You really came to our rescue.
From the bottom of my heart, Anitha, I am thankful that you were our realtor. I would hate to imagine how dreadful this search and closing would have been without you.
Next year, maybe we can buy another house. If so, there is no one that I'd trust more than you. Thanks again!
